Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of REV9, including rev9.us, the REV9 application, and related services, features, integrations, content, and tools (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use REV9.

REV9 is a software service for local business owners and authorized managers. REV9 helps users connect a Google Business Profile, analyze available profile information, generate a Profile Health Score and category scores, identify issues and prioritized recommendations, prepare or perform supported profile-management actions, track activity and progress, and use related business tools.

REV9 may also provide tools for generating posts, review replies, review requests, quotes, invoices, job sheets, voicemail scripts, and other business content or workflows.

You may use REV9 only if you are legally capable of entering into these Terms and are authorized to act for the business or organization whose information you connect, upload, manage, or submit.

You may connect or manage a Google Business Profile through REV9 only if you own that profile or are authorized by the business owner to manage it. You must not use REV9 to access, modify, impersonate, or manage a business or account without proper authorization.

You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your account information and the confidentiality of any credentials used to access REV9. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.

You must notify REV9 promptly if you believe your account or connected Google authorization has been accessed or used without authorization.

Some REV9 features require you to authorize access to Google services through Google OAuth. REV9 does not receive your Google password. REV9 receives only the permissions and authorization information made available through the OAuth process.

You control whether Google access is granted and may revoke REV9's access through your Google Account. Revoking access may disable features that depend on a connected Google Business Profile.

When authorized, REV9 may retrieve and store Google Business Profile information needed to provide the Service, including profile and location information, business hours, categories, services, attributes, photos or media, reviews, review replies, posts, and other supported profile data.

REV9 may also store analysis results, scores, recommendations, generated content, uploaded media, and the history or status of actions prepared, requested, completed, or failed through the Service.

Where Google APIs and your granted permissions allow it, REV9 may prepare or perform profile-management actions that you request or approve, such as updating supported business information, adding services, preparing or publishing posts, uploading photos or media, or responding to reviews.

REV9 does not own or control your Google Business Profile. You remain responsible for reviewing the accuracy and appropriateness of information you choose to publish or modify.

REV9 Profile Health Scores, category scores, findings, priorities, and recommendations are REV9 product outputs based on the information available to the Service and REV9's analysis methods.

They are not official Google scores, do not reproduce Google's confidential ranking algorithm, and should not be interpreted as a prediction or guarantee of search ranking, traffic, calls, leads, revenue, or other business results.

Google Search and Maps performance can depend on many factors outside REV9's control, including relevance, distance, prominence, competition, Google systems, user behavior, and changes to Google products or policies.

REV9 uses AI systems, including the Google Gemini API, to help generate analysis, scores, summaries, recommendations, posts, review replies, messages, and other content.

AI-generated output may contain mistakes, omissions, or unsuitable suggestions. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before publishing, sending, relying on, or acting on it.

REV9 does not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial, or other regulated professional advice through AI-generated output.

REV9 may allow you to store customer information and prepare, send, track, or manage review requests and related follow-ups. You are responsible for ensuring that you have a lawful basis and any required consent to provide customer information to REV9 and to contact the customer through the selected channel.

You are responsible for complying with applicable marketing, messaging, privacy, anti-spam, telemarketing, and consumer-protection laws, as well as Google policies concerning reviews and prohibited review manipulation.

You must not use REV9 to offer prohibited incentives for reviews, selectively solicit only positive reviews in a misleading manner, suppress legitimate negative feedback, fabricate reviews, or engage in review manipulation.

You retain ownership of content you provide to REV9, including text, business information, photos, media, customer information, and other materials you upload or submit (“User Content”).

You grant REV9 a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, reproduce, transmit, format, and otherwise use User Content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service and to perform actions you request.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to provide User Content to REV9 and to use it for the requested purpose.

REV9 may use analytics and product-measurement services, including Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity, and PostHog, to understand website and product usage, improve usability, diagnose problems, and measure feature performance.

Use of analytics technologies is further described in the REV9 Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

REV9 is an independent service. REV9 is not Google, Google Business Profile, or an official Google product, and use of REV9 does not imply endorsement or certification by Google.

Google, Google Business Profile, Google Maps, and related Google services are subject to Google's own terms, policies, technical limitations, and availability.

REV9 may rely on third-party services for hosting, infrastructure, databases, AI processing, communications, analytics, and other functionality. Third-party service interruptions, API changes, policy changes, rate limits, or access restrictions may affect REV9 features.

You must not use REV9 to:

• Access or manage a Google Business Profile, account, or data without authorization;
• Impersonate another person or business or submit materially false or misleading business information;
• Fabricate, buy, manipulate, or improperly incentivize reviews or other customer feedback;
• Send unlawful, deceptive, abusive, harassing, or unsolicited communications;
• Upload content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
• Introduce malware, attempt unauthorized access, probe security, or interfere with the Service;
• Circumvent technical limits, access controls, API restrictions, or usage safeguards;
• Scrape, reverse engineer, copy, resell, sublicense, or exploit the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it;
• Use REV9 in violation of Google Business Profile policies, Google API policies, or applicable law; or
• Use the Service for fraud, unlawful activity, or conduct that could harm REV9, Google, other users, customers, or third parties.

REV9 may make beta, preview, experimental, or pre-release features available while the product is under development. Such features may be incomplete, change without notice, contain errors, or be discontinued.

Beta or preview availability does not create a commitment that a feature will be released commercially or remain available in its current form.

REV9 may add, modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue features as the product evolves, including where changes are required by Google APIs, third-party services, security requirements, law, or product decisions.

REV9 does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, outages, API restrictions, third-party failures, or other events may temporarily affect access.

REV9 and its licensors retain all rights in the Service, including software, design, interfaces, branding, documentation, and other materials, excluding User Content and third-party materials.

Subject to these Terms, REV9 grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Service for your authorized business purposes.

If you provide suggestions, ideas, or feedback about REV9, you permit REV9 to use that feedback without restriction or obligation to you, provided this does not grant REV9 ownership of your confidential business information or User Content.

REV9's handling of personal information and Google user data is described in the REV9 Privacy Policy. Cookies and similar analytics technologies are described in the REV9 Cookie Policy. Those policies are incorporated by reference into these Terms where applicable.

REV9 may suspend or terminate access to the Service where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, users, Google integrations, or third parties; to investigate suspected abuse or security issues; to comply with law or third-party platform requirements; or where you materially violate these Terms.

You may stop using REV9 at any time. Disconnecting Google access or deleting an account may disable or remove connected features and stored information as described in the Privacy Policy.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, REV9 is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. REV9 does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every business or use case.

REV9 does not guarantee Google rankings, placement in Search or Maps, increases in profile views, calls, reviews, leads, revenue, or any specific business outcome.

Recommendations and generated content should be reviewed by the user before action or publication.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, REV9 and its operators, affiliates, personnel, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunities, or business interruption arising from or related to use of the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless REV9 and its operators, affiliates, personnel, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your User Content, your communications with customers, your management of a connected Google Business Profile, or your material violation of these Terms.

REV9 may update these Terms as the Service, integrations, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date identifies the latest version. Where required by law, REV9 will provide additional notice of material changes.

You are responsible for complying with laws and regulations that apply to your business, customers, communications, content, and use of REV9. Mandatory rights and protections that apply under the law of your jurisdiction are not waived by these Terms.

These Terms and your use of REV9 are subject to applicable laws and regulations. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived or restricted under the law that applies to you.
